New Headshots

Adam at Indien Media took some new headshots for me, and it was just the sweetest session! He and his wife, baby and dog were all there, and it felt so homey and comfortable. It was so easy to open up and bring my A Game to my face.

Improv Graduation

Welp, that's it. We did it. All five levels.
Our graduation from the New Movement was on Sunday, and it was so sweet. We did a 30 minute set, then there was a little ceremony. All of the teachers we had for levels 1-5 participated in the graduation ceremony, we each got trophies and diplomas, and I almost cried.
Stay tuned for further improv updates!

Crescent City Classic!

I ran a 10k at the end of March! Training for this race was super rough, but now I'm addicted. I ran the CCC10k in a personal best time, and got this badass picture! What a successful day! You can check out my time and rankings here.

Red Light One Acts Vol. 3

Drowning In Blue puts on a good show, everyone! This time around was entirely local: local performers, local directors, local playwrights, the works! I was in an experimental piece, and had a blast performing the absurd little piece, and watching all the other wonderful shows every night!

Level 3 Improv Recital

And just like that, we're more than halfway done with our TNM improv training! The show went really well. We showcased all three of the devices we used over the last three weeks in one 20 minute show. I'm really excited about Level 4!

Latte Art Throwdown

There's a monthly competition for baristas where we go head to head—with latte art! This past Thursday, I won! It was some stiff competition and I was SO NERVOUS. My hands shaking really didn't help my art, but I'm so proud! This picture is of my winning cortado (on the right.) It's a little wonky, but hey, it worked!

Model Emily

Modeled for the delightful and impeccably dressed Randy Schmidt, and it was so much fun! At one location, we had to squelch through a foot-deep layer of clay to get to a lightly wooded area. The young forrest was made all the more magical by how hard it was to get there! SO MAGICAL.
